Mother’s Day in Greenville + Spartanburg Starts Here
Mother’s Day is Sunday, May 11th (just in case you forgot 😉), and if you’re thinking about what to do, you’re not alone. We’re a mother-daughter real estate team here in Greenville and Spartanburg, so this one’s kind of special for us.
We pulled together some of our favorite local spots for Mother’s Day brunch, in both Greenville and Spartanburg, plus a few extra ideas in case you’re not feeling the brunch crowd this year.
Whether you’re planning something sweet for your mom, treating a friend, or you are the mom (sending this link as a little hint 🥂), we’ve got you.
🥞 Mother’s Day Brunch in Greenville
Larkin’s (Downtown Greenville | 10 AM – 2 PM | Buffet)
Larkin’s is doing a Mother’s Day brunch buffet this year from 10 to 2. Tons of food (shrimp and grits, fried chicken, prime rib, all the good stuff) and a little craft table where kids can make something for mom. Drinks like tea and coffee are included, bar’s open if you want something else. Get your tickets quick!
Soby’s (Downtown | Special Brunch Menu)
They’re doing their usual brunch and put out a special Mother’s Day menu too. Be quick, they’re one of the first to book up.
Roost Restaurant (NOMA Square | Brunch Menu)
Good food, bright space, and a great pick if you want to walk around and make a little day out of it.
Up on the Roof (Rooftop | Opens at 11 AM | $25 per person)
If your mom loves a view and a good drink menu, this rooftop spot is perfect. They’ve got rosé-all-day starting at 11 am and a fun brunch menu to match with Mother’s Day specials.
Tupelo Honey (Downtown | Open 9 AM – 8 PM | Dine-in + To-Go)
Open 9 to 8 on Mother’s Day with their usual Southern lineup. You can eat there or grab something to-go if you’re keeping it lowkey. Either way, it’s an easy win.
🥞 Mother’s Day Brunch in Spartanburg
The Kennedy (Downtown | 11 AM – 2 PM | Reservations Required)
One of the prettiest places in town to eat. They’re doing a special menu again this year with things like she-crab soup and mocktails. You do need a reservation, but it’s worth it.
Dray Bar and Grill Mother’s Day Buffet (Drayton Mills | 10:30 AM – 2:30 PM | Buffet)
Hosting a big buffet for Mother’s Day inside Drayton Mills. New Orleans-style food and a really cool space. Great for a bigger group or if you just want to try a little bit of everything.
Cribbs Kitchen (Downtown | 11 AM – 2 PM | Mother’s Day Specials)
Laid-back and always good. They’re doing brunch specials for Mother’s Day, and it’s a great choice if you just want something low-key and reliable.
Monarch Café (Spartanburg | 11 AM – 4 PM | Buffet)
Soul food and Southern favorites served buffet-style, with a special line just for moms. Definitely one of the most flavor-packed options in town.
Mon Amie Morning Cafe (Spartanburg | Get There Early)
French-inspired with crepes, coffee, and a super cozy vibe. It gets busy, so plan ahead or expect a wait, but it’s worth it.
The Crepe Factory (Inman | May 10 & 11 | 9 AM – 2 PM | Buffet)
They’re doing a Mother’s Day buffet on both Saturday and Sunday from 9 to 2. Cute spot if you’re up for something a little different and want to celebrate with crepes and a full spread.
🥞 Mother’s Day Brunch in Greer
House 509 (Greer | 10:30 AM or 12:30 PM | Reservation Required)
They’ve got two indoor seating times for Mother’s Day brunch. Your reservation includes a pastry basket and coffee for the table.
White Wine & Butter (Greer | 10:30 AM – 2:30 PM | COMPLETELY BOOKED)
Hosting a special Mother’s Day brunch at their new spot inside the Greer Golf & Country Club. They’re offering a prix fixe menu just for the occasion. Reservations are required, and they tend to fill up fast, so it’s best to book ahead.
