Greenville & Spartanburg Dog Parks You (& Your Pup) Will Love
A good dog park can seriously save the day (or your living room). As mother-daughter realtors in Greenville and Spartanburg, (and full-time dog parents) we’ve ended up at pretty much every park in the area. A few parks really stood out, and those are the ones we’re sharing.
These off-leash dog parks in Greenville and Spartanburg are clean, convenient, and always full of happy dogs (and people).
Greenville Dog Parks and Nearby 🐾
Conestee Dog Park (Greenville)
Conestee is definitely one of our favorite dog parks in Greenville. It’s big, clean, and has separate areas for small and large dogs to run free. There’s a double-gated entry, benches, shaded spots, water, and even rounded corners in the fencing to help keep things calm. Plus, it connects to the trails at Conestee Nature Preserve, so if your pup still has energy, there’s plenty of space to explore.
The Unleashed Dog Bar and Salon (Greenville)
This place is such a fun change of pace, it’s Greenville’s first off-leash dog park that’s also a bar. There’s beer, wine, seltzers, and coffee for the humans, and a big fenced area for the dogs to run around. They’ve got indoor and outdoor seating, TVs, and even a grooming salon with a certified lead groomer if your pup needs a spa day.
Dog Park at Pelham Mill Park (Greer)
Right off Hwy 14, Pelham Mill Dog Park is one of those spots that’s just super easy. It’s off-leash and has separate spaces for big and small dogs, water stations, benches, a few play features, and even a little sand run. It’s usually not too busy either, which is nice if your dog prefers a more relaxed setting.
Edgewood Bark Park (Greenville)
Edgewood is a dog park with an open field where you dogs can run freely, shaded picnic table and bottled water provided by the church next door (which is super sweet, honestly). It’s not huge, but it’s laid-back and super convenient if you’re near downtown Greenville. Heads-up: a few hours each evening are just for Greyhounds.
Dog Park at Pavilion Recreation Complex (Taylors)
Another off-leash dog park near Greenville, and it’s a good one. The park has two fenced areas for large and small dogs, grassy space to run, agility features, water stations, and benches. Super clean and easy to pop into if you’re in Taylors or nearby.
The Dapper Dog Bark Bar (Mauldin)
The Dapper Dog in Mauldin is a fully off-leash dog bar where your pup can play while you hang out with a drink. Coffee, beer, wine, you name it. They also host events, offer training, and have a really good local community vibe.
Spartanburg Dog Parks and Nearby 🐾
Tyger Run Dog Park (Spartanburg)
Tyger River Park has an dog park located inside and has separate fenced areas for small and large dogs to enjoy. Each side has a water spigot, shade, agility obstacles, and a picnic table. It’s clean, spacious, and great for dogs who like to stay active.
Rail Trail Dog Park (Spartanburg)
This off-leash dog park is right off the Mary Black Rail Trail, across from the entrance to Duncan Park. It has two fenced areas, one for small dogs and one for bigger pups. It’s not huge, but it’s super convenient if you’re already out walking or biking the trail. Clean, easy to access, and a favorite with local dog parents.
Behind Stone Soup Market & Café is the Landrum Community Dog Park. It’s off-leash and is open daily from dawn to dusk. It’s peaceful, locally supported, and perfect if your dog prefers a more relaxed space to play. There’s also a covered picnic area nearby, so you can grab lunch at Stone Soup and hang out while your pup gets their zoomies out.
We hope this helps you and your pup find some new favorite dog parks! And if you’re reading this thinking, “Okay, now I want to live near one of these parks,” that’s kind of our thing. We help people buy and sell in Greenville and Spartanburg every day. And honestly, dogs are usually part of the decision-making.
